Interesting facts about Testament:

- The band has released an album or video every year from 1987 until 2001, with the exception of 1998 and 2000, but two albums were released in 1997 (Demonic and Signs Of Chaos) as well as 2001 (First Strike Still Deadly and The Very Best Of Testament)

- The band has gone through a total of eight drummers, currently on number nine (Jon Allen).

- All of the Slayer drummers, except T.J. Scaglione, (Dave Lombardo, Paul Bostaph, Jon Dette) have also been in Testament (Sidenote - when Jon Dette tried out for Slayer, so did Demonic drummer Gene Hoglan).

- Chuck is Pomo Indian and draws lyrics from this, including "Trail of Tears" and "Allegiance".

- Testament broke up in mid-1996, after changing their name to Dog Faced Gods with drummer Chris Kontos.

- Eric Peterson is the only founding member still in the band (Chuck joined shortly before the recording of The Legacy).

- James Murphy is in his second stint with the band.
